Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is to let you know that we initiated a hold and secure for approximately half an hour yesterday morning as a proactive measure to ensure everyone’s safety and security. We worked closely with the board security and Waterloo region Police Service until the hold and secure was called off. The person in question is now in custody.

All activities planned for the day went on as per schedule. We want to reassure you that everyone’s safety, security and well-being remain a priority for us at all times. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the school.
